Job Title: Camera Systems Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Camera Systems Engineer to support the development and validation of thermal camera systems for automotive applications. The role involves supporting previous camera generations, managing testing processes, and contributing to the development of new testing methods for upcoming camera generations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Process Validation (PV) Testing for various automotive standards.
- Collaborate with customers to meet testing timelines.
- Organize external laboratory testing and develop in-house tests.
- Support ongoing Thermal Camera Gen5 development with a focus on Design Validation (DV) Testing.
- Manage remote testing stations and design new testing methods as the camera product develops.
Essential Skills
- Experience in environmental testing and EMC testing.
- Proficiency in writing test plans and reports.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Optics experience, specifically in infrared cameras and modular transfer function (MTF).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience with Thermal Camera system development.
- Strong understanding of electrical and software troubleshooting.
- Good time management skills.
- Fundamental mechanical and optical understanding.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a dynamic environment with remote testing stations and collaborative efforts with external laboratories. The work schedule may include standard office hours with potential for flexible arrangements. Dress code is business casual.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
