Job Opportunity: Senior Superintendent Electrical for AI Hyperscale Data Center Campus
Are you an experienced Electrical Superintendent ready to take on a leadership role in the construction of a cutting-edge AI Hyperscale Data Center campus? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Superintendent - Electrical to join our team and oversee all aspects of electrical and low voltage work on this monumental project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Oversight: Assist in the comprehensive planning and management of all electrical stages, from pre-construction to post-construction.
- Safety Management: Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
- Subcontractor Management: Supervise multiple Assistant Superintendents and subcontractors, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks.
- Schedule & Budget Management: Implement and adjust project schedules, manage budgets, and track expenditures to ensure project goals are met.
- Quality Control: Collaborate with the Quality Control team to meet project-specific requirements and maintain high standards.
- Documentation: Ensure all on-site documentation, including drawings and logs, are updated and accurate.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Provide intentional leadership and mentorship to Superintendents, Assistants, and Foremen, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Lean methodologies.
- Client & Team Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 8 years of construction-related experience as Superintendent with 10 years within Electrical work
- Proficiency in computer applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Bluebeam or equivalent)
- Ability to supervise multiple Assistant Superintendents
- Experience in organizing and facilitating Superintendent meetings
- Demonstrated experience initiating and driving continuous improvement
Preferred:
- Two or four-year degree in a construction-related field
- 12 years of field-related experience
- Ability to navigate REVIT and AutoCAD documents
- Experience with Construction Management Software (Procore, AutoDesk, etc.)
- Current OSHA 30 certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, innovative and forward-thinking
- Current CPR/First Aid training
Office & Travel:
- This is a travel position for our National Operating unit. Project site is in Ellendale, North Dakota.
- Position includes GSA per diem rates and travel home every three weeks (long weekend) provided by the company.
- Project duration could be as long as 4 years.
