Job Title: Traveling Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with over 10 years of experience to oversee a ground-up commercial project that includes extensive site work. The ideal candidate has experience managing several ground-up construction projects, including PEMB (Pre-engineered metal buildings).

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee ground-up commercial construction projects
• Coordinate site work and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Supervise the construction process from start to finish, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines
• Oversee the construction of PEMB and ensure all processes are correctly followed
• Handle concrete work and ensure proper execution
• Use technology and computer systems efficiently for project management
• Interact with clients and manage sequencing challenges on active apron sites
• Coordinate project reviews, including minor and major site plan reviews

Essential Skills

• 10-20 years of experience as a Superintendent
• Experience managing complex ground-up commercial projects
• Experience with PEMB (Pre-engineered metal buildings)
• Experience managing site work
• Experience with concrete
• Proficiency in using technology and computer systems
• Procore experience is a plus

Work Environment

This company is a design-builder of general and business aviation facilities and commercial projects nationwide. They specialize in corporate flight departments, fixed base operations, aviation completion and maintenance facilities, aviation paint hangars, and commercial facilities. This project is located in Grand Junction, CO at the airport. The initial project involves a maintenance hangar with shop office space, a 40,000 sq ft area, two stair towers with elevators, extensive storm water work, and apron work. The project will have sequencing challenges and require interaction with the client. The work environment is team-oriented, with a focus on mentorship and a fun office culture. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.00
