As an ActiKare caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors by assisting them with daily activities, providing companionship, and enabling them to maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing meals
- Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
Caregiver Requirements:
- Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
