What are the responsibilities and job description for the SMT Operator 2nd Shift position at ACTIA Electronics Inc?
2nd Shift: Mon-Thur 3:00 pm - 12:30 am (work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours)
Job Duties / Responsibilities: Operate the machine, which includes understanding the sequence of events, the control panel and indicators, and understand how to replenish supplies and components per Standard Operating Procedures
- Set-up of the machine, machine adjustments and ability to perform feeder loading and changing per the manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures
- General machine cleaning and upkeep per the Standard Operating Procedures
- Other duties as assigned.
- Support Quality and Environmental Objects
Position Qualifications:
- Procedures for handling and storing moisture sensitive devices (MSDs)
- ESD requirements for the manufacturing area
- Procedure for control of solder paste
- General Instructions for handling and processing PCB’s
- Production output per customer requirements
- Component identification
- Understand safety and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements of the area
- Basic understanding of non-conforming materials (NCM)
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, speak, write and understand English. Be able to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings and specification sheets, and procedure manuals.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
