Job Summary
The CNC Operator will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts in a manufacturing facility.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, etc.
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance
- Collaborate with the engineering team on process improvements
Requirements
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and CAM programming
- Experience with stamping press and materials handling
- Knowledge of machining processes and materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing facility is preferred
