Short Description: Clerical assistance coverage on 3rdshift managing the front desk of the main patient care building.
Complete Description:
Responsibilities:
- Answering the main hospital phone
- Transferring calls
- Monitoring the fire panel systems and using the radio to contact Security if a trouble alarm alerts
- Calling and relaying information to 911 if a code is called
- Using the PA system for hospital codes if requested
- Assisting with fleet key check out
- Assisting with staff meal ticket purchases
- Other clerical tasks as assigned
Required/Desired Skills
Prior experience as a hospital switchboard operator or clinic unit clerk: Required
Knowledge and experience in a role utilizing HIPAA compliance: Required
Ability to react calmly and quickly in the case of a medical or security emergency: Required
CPR Certification: Highly desired
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
