JOB SUMMARY:
The Health and Safety Specialist (EHS) will provide EHS support to employees and management at the assigned field operations, promote a positive safety culture, implement and manage corporate health and safety programs, promote continuous safety awareness and improvement, and provide required training.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- :Provide safety support in promoting safety awareness and safe work practices to achieve a safety culture with zero incidents and maintain regulatory complianc
- eUnderstands and is knowledgeable in applicable EPA, OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulation
- sAssists in the development and implementation of EHS procedures, policies, and guideline
- sConducts inspections and audits, as required, to ensure compliance with Company Policies and regulatory complianc
- eConduct remedial driver safety training based on individual driver performanc
- eInspecting load securement, load documentation, measurements, and permits) as time permits
- .Assists in the mitigation of identified hazardous conditions and/or unsafe acts with employees and managemen
- tParticipates in incident investigations and assists with the development of corrective actions and completion of reports as require
