Reporting to the Director of Edmonton Field Operations, the Comfort Advisor will be responsible for giving world-class in-home presentations and closing sales in homes. They will engage in prospecting and collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be passionate about providing customers with the highest level of service.

Responsibilities:
This position will include, but not be limited to the following:
Customer Consultation and Needs Assessment
· Conduct in-home visits to engage with customers and understand their specific HVAC requirements.
· Perform thorough assessments of existing HVAC systems and home environments.
· Listen actively to customer concerns and questions to tailor recommendations effectively.
Solution Development and Proposal Creation
· Prepare detailed proposals that outline recommended systems, installation plans, and cost estimates.
· Explain technical information in an accessible manner, helping customers make informed decisions by understanding the long-term benefits of their proposed solutions.
Sales and Closing
· Present proposals to customers in a clear and persuasive manner, highlighting key benefits and value propositions.
· Address any objections or concerns by providing clear, factual information and professional advice.
· Utilize strong closing techniques to secure commitments and finalize sales contracts.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and industry trends to better serve customers.
Follow Up and Relationship Management
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
· Serve as a trusted advisor, keeping customers informed about maintenance, upgrades, and seasonal promotions.
· Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any questions or issues.
Metrics and Continuous Improvement
· Track and analyze individual performance metrics including sales targets, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
· Commit to a continuous improvement mindset, consistently seeking ways to improve the sales process and customer experience.
· Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to enhance sales techniques and product knowledge.
· Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer insights to help shape future strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid drivers license for 3 years, clean drivers abstract, and reliable transportation
- Excellent customer/member service and communication oriented
- 5 years of relevant professional sales experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to thrive in a commission sales role
- Positive mindset
- HVAC or construction trade experience is an asset
