Your Role: Carrier Sales Representative
As the vital link between carriers, drivers, and account management, you’ll ensure smooth operations for our customers’ shipments. From sourcing reliable carriers to ensuring on-time delivery and providing real-time updates, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining our high service standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain a database of qualified carriers to meet customer needs efficiently.
- Develop strong partnerships with carrier partners through regular communication and performance reviews.
- Source reliable carriers via load boards, emails, and outbound calls while vetting their suitability for each shipment.
- Act as the liaison between drivers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage load statuses in our Transportation Management System (TMS) from dispatch to delivery.
- Provide timely updates on shipment progress to customers and internal teams.
- Address escalations related to carrier issues and ensure resolution.
What We’re Looking For:
- Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum one year in freight brokerage or dispatch; knowledge of heavy haul equipment is a plus.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication abilities (written & verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Revenova (TMS) and Salesforce (CRM) is ideal.
- A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments with competing priorities.
