Job Summary : The Community Services Navigator will conduct intakes, provide referrals, and coordinate with partner agencies to ensure complete access to available resources for clients, particularly those in crisis situations.

Hours : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, NON-EXEMPT

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Assist clients in applying for available public benefits and assist with the application process for such benefits.
• Provide advocacy to clients who are facing housing denials and terminations.
• Conduct rental, mortgage, and / or utility arrearage counseling and screening for various financial resources for eligible clients.
• Respond to clients requiring immediate assistance via urgent care policy.
• Enter and update information on clients served in internal databases along with submitting paperwork to the Director of Community Services in a timely and efficient manner.
• Participate in cross-training to provide emergency front desk coverage, as needed.
• Attend and participate in departmental, organization-wide, and other meetings.
• Act in the best interest of the organization, reflecting the values of teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect.
• Other duties as needed and assigned.
