Position Overview: As the Enrollment Director at Action Karate, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and expanding our community of martial arts enthusiasts. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic enrollment initiatives, building and nurturing relationships with prospective students and their families, and serving as an ambassador for our core values.
Details: You will have the privilege of working within a respected martial arts institution with deep-rooted community connections, providing you with an opportunity to significantly impact the lives of your students.Your role will involve direct engagement with children and families, fostering their passion for martial arts while making a meaningful difference. We ensure that you are fully equipped for this responsibility by offering comprehensive training, including CPR and first aid certification.We are in search of diligent and self-motivated individuals who have a genuine affinity for working with people. Prior experience in customer service and martial arts is considered an asset.As part of your role, you will be responsible for enhancing the student experience. This encompasses greeting students upon their arrival, coordinating appointments via phone, email, and text, addressing their inquiries, and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, you will receive training in martial arts and progress towards a teaching role.This is a full-time position based at our physical location, with the flexibility for some of your responsibilities to be conducted remotely. Our programs cater to both children and adults; thus, applicants should be comfortable working with individuals of all ages. Our institution is in Ardmore, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and membership enrollment, with a focus on driving revenue and growth.
- Foster relationships with potential students and their families, guiding them through the enrollment process.
- Collaborate with our instructors and staff to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new students.
- Manage and analyze enrollment data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain availability from 9 AM - 11:30 AM and during classes between 3:30 PM - 8 PM on Mondays to Thursdays and Fridays from 9 AM - 11:00 AM. Additionally, be present on Saturdays from 9 AM - 1 PM, excluding special events.
- Conduct outreach through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
- Organize and oversee enrollment events and promotions.
- Assist in developing marketing materials and campaigns to attract prospective students.
- Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Provide 5-star customer service to our members by building strong relationships, understanding their goals, and assisting them in achieving their desired outcomes.
- Conduct private lessons for prospective members, establishing rapport, and identifying their individual needs and preferences.
- Consistently maintain an acceptable level of sales production while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Emphasize and uphold the objectives of our studio as a provider of fitness and wellness services, ensuring members are aware of the benefits.
- Introduce and present available services and products to current members, ensuring they are aware of the value-added options.
- Actively participate in special events such as health fairs, grand openings, community events, and B2B functions to promote our studio and engage with the community.
- Take responsibility for continuous development and improvement of selling and enrollment skills, staying updated with best practices in the industry.
- Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success and growth of Action Karate.
Qualifications:
- Possess outstanding communication, customer service, and sales skills, demonstrating an aptitude for delivering professional and effective interactions.
- Exhibits a strong commitment to goal achievement and a genuine aspiration to earn a competitive and professional wage through successful sales performance.
- Displays the capacity to swiftly learn and efficiently utilize our software system to streamline tasks and optimize workflow.
- Is capable of sustaining periods of up to 8 hours, either in a standing or seated position, to ensure effective workday execution.
- Demonstrates fluency in the English language and maintain excellent communication abilities, both in person and through phone and email correspondence.
- Possess proficient computer skills, including familiarity with the use of social media platforms, to enhance marketing and communication efforts.
- Is prepared for occasional local travel as required, which may involve attending off-site events and community engagements.
- Exhibits patience when interacting with students and a dedicated commitment to personal and professional development.
- Has thew ability to memorize and effectively deliver scripted content, ensuring consistency in messaging and communication.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge and passion for martial arts or fitness is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- This role offers a highly competitive local wage, reflective of a professional salary structure for Full-Time employees. The compensation includes a base salary of $3,500 per month, complemented by a commission structure that provides substantial earning potential. Successful attainment of the base salary is contingent upon passing prescribed tests, including script memorization.
