What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor position at Action Kids Summer Camp?
Our Day Camp Counselors, ages 15 and up, serve as professional role models for our campers, leading by example and guiding campers through recreational activities that teach life skills, encourage healthy and safe behaviors that create a positive camper experience. Our Camp Staff work together as a team to facilitate the Action Kids Summer Camp Program, which runs from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, for children ages 4-14, in the NH Seacoast area.

Job Duties:
- Counselors are assigned to a camper group each day (8:1 ratio).
- Counselors ensure that each camper has adequate supervision, manage and facilitate transitions to scheduled activities, assist Activity Leaders with arts and crafts, nature, games, gymnastics and swim time
- Counselors also assist with camp wide thematic programming that changes each week, participate in weekly all camp special events and perform other duties as assigned.
