Food processing workers needed for a fish plant east of Meridian, MS. Looking for ALL INTERESTED LABOR who will relocate with housing available near Demopolis, AL.
1st shift: 7am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday
2nd shift: 3:30pm to 12am Monday-Friday
1st shift job description is processing catfish in plant. Cutting; sorting, deskinning; fileting; trimming; marinating; breading and battering and packaging for freeze.
2nd shift is FREEZE OPERATIONS ONLY. Taking fresh fish, marinated fish and breaded/battered fish to package for freezing.
$13 per hour OT available! Housing available with 4 weeks FREE AFTER 2ND MONTH!

Overview

Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment in a food processing environment
- Follow standard operating procedures to maintain product quality and safety
- Package finished products according to company guidelines
- Adhere to CGMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations to ensure compliance
- Conduct basic math calculations for measuring ingredients and quantities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food processing plant is preferred BUT NOT REQUIRED. ALL APPLY NOT WORK AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY!
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring and packaging tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in the food industry
