Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Control Inspector to join our team, specializing in the assembly and inspection of Electromechanical Assemblies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various quality control tasks and possess a strong understanding of mechanical/electrical measurements and aerospace standards as well as possess IPC-A-610 Solder Certification.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
· Proficient in measurement tool usage (micrometer, caliper, comparator, height gauge, multi-meters, etc.)
· Understanding of mechanical drawing, dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T)
· Calibration of inspection equipment
· Maintain related formalized records of inspections and remedial action, as applicable.
· Inspect/ Audit a Variety of Products using all variable or attribute measuring equipment and record results to ensure conformance with aerospace customer regulations
· Responsible for First Part Buy Off, Receiving, In Process, First and Final Article inspections
· Perform Receiving, In-process, and Final inspection including Shipping.
· AS9100 - ISO experience/knowledge is preferred
· Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.
· Detail oriented and meticulous
· Capable of organizing, prioritizing, and multi-tasking
· Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, E-mail)
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to understand and perform job functions as stated in the job description.
- Normal range of motion and good manual dexterity are necessary for this job.
- Accuracy in performing job is required. Errors in identifying non-conforming operations may cause defective parts and break down of equipment.
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent desired, but not necessary.
Training and Experience:
- 5 Years electro-mechanical inspection experience
- IPC-A-610 Solder Certification (desired)
