What are the responsibilities and job description for the Setup Technician position at Action Personnel Inc?
The Setup Technician is responsible for installing, removing, preparing, and storing injection molds and post-molding equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install molds into molding machines.
- Remove molds from molding machines.
- Prepare and place molds on storage racks.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance procedures.
- Respond to warning alarms and requests for assistance.
- Set up and adjust auxiliary equipment for molding and post-molding operations.
- Maintain water and air hoses used in the setup of molds and equipment.
- Ensure fixtures and auxiliary equipment are in good condition for mold installation and removal.
- Return all support and auxiliary equipment to designated storage areas after use.
- Make minor process adjustments to molding and post-molding machines as needed.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical knowledge with at least 2 years of experience.
- Must pass a Mechanical Aptitude test.
- Availability for overnight shifts.
Schedule:
- Full-time, 3rd shift, over night, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
