Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Printer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output while adhering to production schedules. This role requires a strong technical background, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Printer will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional printed materials that meet our clients' specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of printing machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Assist with network installation tasks, including Cat6 cabling and LAN setups.
- Provide field service support for printers, including installation and repairs at client locations.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, equipment maintenance, and service calls.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in the printing environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Printer or in a similar role within the printing industry.
- Strong technical skills related to service technician duties, including familiarity with IT systems.
- Knowledge of network installation processes and equipment, particularly with Juniper systems.
- Experience with CCTV systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
