Job Summary
Action Physical Therapy is looking for an energetic, dependable candidate to join our team! The Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for managing all duties in the front office. An ideal candidate will be required to perform duties including greeting and scheduling patients, simple bookkeeping, calling patients to remind them of appointments, handling billing, answering and routing calls, making transactions, and keeping paperwork and electronic charts organized and data entry. The candidate must interact frequently with patients, medical professionals, and supervisors thus requiring excellent communication and skills and a friendly disposition.
Responsibilities and Duties
Greet Patients
Answering 2 Line Telephone System
Routing Calls to Proper Staff
Review/Verify New Patient Intake Forms
Upload Patient Information into EMR System
Scheduling Patients
Chart Organization
Verifying Insurance Benefits for Patients
Insurance Authorizations
Some Light Bookkeeping
Qualifications and Skills
Computer, Telephone and Typing Experience a MUST
Great Organizational Skills
Great Customer Service Skills
Great Communication Skills
Must be Dependable
High School Diploma or GED Required
Previous EMR Experience a Plus
