Powersports General Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team and oversee operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities that include managing daily operations, ensuring quality service delivery, and fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across sales, service, and parts departments, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and adherence to industry standards.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for new and used powersports
• Recruit, train, and motivate a team of professionals, including sales staff, service technicians, and administrative personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
• Ensure exceptional customer service, addressing escalated issues and maintaining high satisfaction ratings
• Oversee inventory management, negotiating to secure competitive pricing and product availability suited to seasonal demands
• Monitor budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures to maximize dealership profitability

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a managerial role within a powersports or automotive dealership or service environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with powersports or automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff alike.
• A background as a mechanic or service technician is highly desirable.

Schedule

Tuesday - Friday 8:30am to 5:30 pm

Saturday 8:30am to 3:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
