Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker

We are looking for motivated candidates for a seed warehouse operator position in New Castle, IN!

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 4:30pm (1 30min lunch break, 2 15 minute breaks)

Pay: $19.57/hr

Overtime may be mandatory.

Warehouse operators work closely with supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction by accurately storing and shipping inventory to customers. Other essential functions of this position may include but are not limited to:

-Performing all work activities safely

-Staging customer deliveries to ensure that products are ready per customer request.

-Lifting and stacking materials up to 68lbs, above shoulder level, for extended periods of time.

-Standing for long periods of time

-Successfully passing forklift training and receive operator’s certificate

-Safely climb stairs and ladders to monitor and adjust any equipment

-Verify the accuracy of staged loads for shipment.

-Ensure accurate reporting of inventory activity including counts, product location, and timely submission of paperwork

-Maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse

-Thorough cleaning of equipment in order to maintain product integrity.

-Follow all Quality Management System processes and procedures.

-Assist with implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System

All employees will eventually be trained in every aspect of the packaging facility. You will move stations after training to learn each position to be able to float and help your teammates when needed.

-Must be able to pass a drug screen

-Must have a valid driver’s license

-Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.57 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
