Warehouse Clerk/Forklift Operator

Section II: Position Summary

This position will ensure that expected quality and customer satisfaction goals are accomplished while preparing and delivering burial caskets to Funeral Homes within Wilbert Funeral Services’ Casket Division territory.
Section III: Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures that all caskets are properly inspected and prepared before shipment
• Responsible for general personal appearance, upkeep of all equipment and department, and communicate any concerns with equipment
• Follow delivery schedule set by the management and load trucks on-time
• Treat customers with great service and respect
• Consider safety first and comply with & PPE requirements
• Help origanize the department by placing caskets in their designated area and by properly scanning and labeling the caskets

Technology: Basic computer and mobile phone knowledge and Microsoft Office including but not limited to, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Section V: Education & Certificates and/or Experience

• Forklift experience
• Warehouse and or dock experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit and talk or hear. The employee will be required to frequently drive a delivery vehicle for long periods of time. The employee must be able to handle, lift, and load caskets up to approximately 100lbs.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
