ActioNet is looking for a Logistics Specialist will report ON-SITE at either Yuma AZ, 29 Palms, OR Oceanside, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Specialist to support a Defense unit project. This role focuses on coordinating logistics efforts, managing equipment deliveries, and contributing to the development of a company-wide Item Unique Identification (IUID) plan. The ideal candidate will have strong logistics experience and the ability to effectively manage complex processes in a fast-paced environment.
Location: ON-SITE at either Yuma AZ, 29 Palms, OR Oceanside, CA.
Salary Range: $70K-80K
- Oversee logistics efforts for the ISTC BAN project, ensuring all gear and equipment are properly received, documented, and stored.
- Collaborate with project leads to develop and implement an IUID plan for company-wide use.
- Manage the receiving process for procured equipment, ensuring compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate with team members to track inventory, shipments, and other logistical tasks.
- Assist in establishing efficient logistics processes that align with project and company objectives.
- Support efforts to identify and onboard a long-term logistician for continued onsite support.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Security Clearance: Eligibility for Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with logistics software, databases, Microsoft Office products, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) or warehouse management systems.
- Standards Knowledge: Strong understanding of military or government logistics standards such as MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129.
- IUID Processes: Experience with Item Unique Identification (IUID) processes is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
- Adaptability: Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- DOD Experience: Previous experience working on Department of Defense (DOD) projects.
- Technical Equipment Handling: Familiarity with receiving and handling technical equipment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements as they apply to logistics.
