An Engineering Solution Provider Corporation in Novi, MI is currently looking for a Japanese / English Bilingual IT Project Manager.

Japanese / English Bilingual IT Project Manager Job Description:

• Proactively manage and lead the successful commercial and technical activities to make an engineering project successful, ensuring adherence to budget, timing, and quality.
• Lead and perform the delivery of several tasks during the execution of the customer projects.
• Learn new engineering concepts, equipment, software tools for successful delivery.
• Create written reports (MS Word/PowerPoint) for the project status and new proposals.
• Communicate with customers, with support from the supervisor and team.
• Propose proactively in engineering projects towards expansion of the business.
• Other job duties are assigned as needed

Japanese / English Bilingual IT Project Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree with Engineering related degree – Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics preferred
• 8 years of professional engineering experience
• Application Engineering or Design and Release Engineering Experience – electrified powertrain is preferred
• Successfully completed (at a minimum) one full product development lifecycle and has strong product development skills
• Fluent in Japanese / English (Reading / Writing / Speaking)
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
