An international, personal care chemical manufacturer and distributor is currently seeking an Entry-level Account Representative to support their sales team in the North New Jersey area. The perfect candidate will have a background and/or knowledge of personal care and cosmetic chemicals, a minimum of 1 year of Sales experience, and a positive, team-oriented mindset. Japanese language skill is a big plus. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Responsibilities of Entry-Level Account Representative:
- Identify and acquire clients: Use direct sales techniques, business directories and referral to find new customers.
- Maintain Client Relationships: Regularly follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Educate Clients: Explain the advantages and benefits of products and services to potential and existing clients.
- Prepare Sales Presentation: Develop sales pitches and presentations that effectively communicate complex scientific concepts and products benefits.
- Negotiate sales contracts and pricing in collaboration with sales leadership
- Other tasks as assigned by Manager.
Requirements of Entry-Level Account Representative:
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in business development/marketing is preferred.
- Technical Background: Education or experience in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communication Skill: Ability to articulate products benefits and build strong client relationship.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clear driving record.
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.
- Japanese language skills. (Strongly Preferred）
