Accounting Manager - Manufacturing Industry (35021)

An international manufacturer near the Bardstown, KY area is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their plant. The ideal candidate will have prior management, accounting and manufacturing industry experience.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation. Must be able to work on-site.

Accounting Manager - Responsibilities:

• Lead accounting team members, collaborate with internal and external teams to fulfill requirements on accounting objectives
• Prepare financial statements, both monthly and year to date
• Reconciles report discrepancies and problems
• Review general Ledger on a monthly basis
• Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Create forecasts and perform analysis(identify trends and deficits)
• Work on budget control and analysis to support financial goals
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Accounting Manager - Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) or equivalent experience required
• Must have 5 or more years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing facility
• Prior relevant management experience
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Must be flexible and able to work within a multicultural environment

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 20 pounds, lift in excess of 20 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
