Our client, an international automotive parts manufacturing company, is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee their facility's maintenance operations.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of managerial experience and 5-7 years of hands-on experience as a Maintenance Technician. They must possess in-depth knowledge of PLC programming and be familiar with the automotive industry.
This role involves managing a team of maintenance technicians, monitoring maintenance schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders to minimize downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment. The successful candidate will also perform regular equipment inspections, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
To excel in this position, you should have strong leadership skills, be able to multitask, and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
