Automotive Parts Sales Representative - Automotive Parts Manufacturer (35060)

A global automotive parts manufacturing company is looking for a motivated Automotive Parts Sales Representative in their Livonia, MI location.

The ideal candidate would have couple of years’ experience in industrial sales or automotive industry experience.

New/business development or automotive industry experience will be a plus.

Automotive Parts Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Establish relations with new and previous customers

• New business development with OEMs and Tier Suppliers

• Promote automotive parts (gaskets) and company at the trade shows

• Intelligently communicate with clients

• Travel to customer locations and prepare reports and compile data

• Make presentations to and attend meetings with client managers and engineers.

• Understand specifications for products for customer design assistance

• Responsible for issuing purchasing orders and RFQs

• Create data, budgets, and reports regarding sales and marketing activity.

• Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.

Automotive Parts Sales Representative Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or Marketing or Engineering is preferred

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience

• Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time

• Experience with customer interaction/service preferred

• Must have excellent presentation skills

• Experience with working in a Japanese related environment is a plus

• Some engineering knowledge or technical support experience is a plus

• This position will not support visa sponsorships
