An automotive parts manufacturing company in the Midway, KY area is looking for a motivated EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) Specialist to join their facility.
This is a full-time and direct hire position with benefits. Hours are on day shift.
Responsibilities Include :
- Research, planning, and implementation of improved safety standards and procedures
- Communicate internally and externally in an effort to ensure any unsafe working conditions are properly identified and resolved
- Documentation of safety / environmental hazard incidents and follow-up
- Monitoring of potential environmental hazards and assistance with incident prevention planning
- Planning and executing safety & environmental audits
- Keep up-to-date with changes in local and federal regulations for safety and environmental standards
- Coordination of regular EHS training for company employees
- Other duties as assigned
