What are the responsibilities and job description for the Japanese English Bilingual Human Resources Operations Assistant Manager position at Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions?
An international IT solutions company servicing the automotive industry located near Plano, TX is looking for a Japanese English Bilingual Human Resources Operations Assistant Manager with extensive knowledge and leadership skills in HR Operation including benefit administration, on / off boarding, payroll, employee relations, and visa administration.
This position requires native level of Japanese language skills including reading and writing and this position on is hybrid and 2 full days in office or 4 half days in the office is required.
Main Responsibilities;
- Manage all areas of HR operation and handle various HR related issues / matters while handling employee relations and projects.
- Administrate / manage benefits programs including, but not limited to : health insurance, FSA, 401K, COBRA, disability, LOA, STD-LTD, Worker’s Compensation, vacation – sick and other company benefits.
- In charge of payroll operation. Analyze, prepare, and process accurate payroll with applicable knowledge of various deductions (pre / post tax), local, state, and federal tax requirements, and gross-up calculations for expatriate payroll through ADP.
- Work with ADP and ensure all applicable withholdings including income taxes, deductions and to ensure all reports - records such as W2 & 941 be accurate.
- HR compliance management including FLSA & I-9 and other applicable statutes and regulations related to HR.
- Work with supervisors and managers of departments and approaches to resolve employee work problems; as directed, conducts employee counseling and disciplinary procedures including termination
- Work with immigration attorney to prepare immigration documents including visa petition.
- Educate and train employees to ensure adequate coverage during absences and to comply with requirements and to improve company employees’ performance.
- Enforce the organization’s policies and applicable laws and discipline employees, address complaints and resolve problems.
- Responsible for offboarding procedure, including exit letters, payments, and exit interviews.
- Identify cost savings measurements and maximizing efficiency and control.
- Maximize productivity and efficiency through document management and assist in developing new policies and procedures.
