An international chemical manufacturing company in the Farmington, Michigan area is currently searching for a motivated Japanese / English Bilingual Sales Account Manager to join their office. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience in the chemical sector, and is technical-minded, with the ability to independently develop new clients and business opportunities. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
Sales Account Manager Responsibilities Include :
- Identify new business development opportunities, and establish relationships with potential customers within assigned sales territory
- Interface with customers and clients regarding product issues, quality assurance, questions, etc. in both Japanese and English
- Collaboration with sales teams and clients in regard to market analysis, product planning, and expected demand
- Product proposal preparation and delivery
- Create price quotations and negotiate price / costs with customers; secure product orders and follow up on tracking and delivery
- Occasional business travel as required (2-3 times per month)
- Other duties as assigned
