Korean Bilingual Quality Manager (35394)

We are seeking a goal-oriented and detail-driven Quality Manager with proven ISO audit experience to join our client’s industrial equipment manufacturing team in Montgomery, AL. This role requires professional-level Korean language skills and 3–5 years of Quality Control and Quality Assurance management experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in quality systems, regulatory compliance, and a strong commitment to driving continuous improvement on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Quality department including budget, production schedule, staffing, production goals, etc.
• Ensure the company’s production follows company’s quality standard (ISO) compliance all time
• Prepare for scheduled internal / external audits and ensure company is ready for unscheduled audits as well
• Maintain clean and safe workplace and ensure the team follows company procedure and policies
• Analyze the existing system and implement action plans for quality improvement
• Manage customer’s complaints regarding quality issues and direct team accordingly
• Communicate with customers effectively and handle difficult situation
• Perform investigations for quality issues and analyze data for improvement
• Ensure everyone in the company follows safety protocol and report any unsafe environment
• Communicate closely with Production and engineering department for any quality issues
• Build and maintain professional relationships with team members for effective communication
• Hire and train new employees for their Quality team
• Follow all OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, EPA standards for optimal operations for the facility
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Business Professional level proficiency in both Korean and English (read, speak, and write)
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance management with proven ISO audit experience within the manufacturing industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Solid worke experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster a positive, collaborative team environment
• Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
• Excellent communication skills—speaking, writing, reading, and listening—with strong presentation abilities
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Business-level proficiency in both Korean and English (spoken and written)
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, responsible, punctual, and a strong team player
• This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
