What are the responsibilities and job description for the Korean Bilingual Quality Manager position at Hyundai Power Transformers USA?
Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Communication skills to convey information in reports, meetings and status reports.
- Knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control.
- Ensure that standards and safety regulations are observed.
- Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives.
- Create training materials and operating manuals.
- Analysis, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills to review systems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Working knowledge of quality system requirements.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
- Develop and implement quality management systems and standards.
- Conduct internal and external quality audits.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
- Support and coordinate plant-wide and department-wide quality planning, conferences, and events for external customers.
- SAP experience preferred.
- NCR/NCM reporting & follow-up.
- Department budget management and process.
- Make purchase requisition of quality department.
- Support and assist the Quality/Production areas as needed.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track & fill out QIR in SAP.
- Develop and maintain KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and supporting data collection systems.
- Calibration management.
- Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Over 5 years of experience in quality control & assurance role.
- Professional certification in quality assurance or quality management.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills are required.
- Ability to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to define problems, and resolve them quickly.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Write detailed reports on quality issues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Participate in complex issue investigations and investigation activities.
- Detail-oriented person.
- Meet all other requirements as assigned.
