Korean English Bilingual Corporate Accounting Specialist (35066)

We are actively seeking a Korean English Bilingual Corporate Accounting Specialist near Detroit, MI.

Responsibilities – Korean English Bilingual Corporate Accounting Specialist:

· Manage and prepare tax filings, compliance, reporting and payments

· Lead tax execution including, but not limited to cross jurisdiction activities/transactions, inter-company management fees and other cross charges

· Manage and work with tax advisors on international tax compliance and planning as appropriate

· Proactively lead and manage any tax audit, and other projects that may be required.

· Prepare financial statement tax disclosures

· Monitoring relevant changes in tax legislation as required

· Researching complex tax issues and preparing technical documentation to support the company’s position

· Support the business by ensuring appropriate systems and controls are implemented and maintained

· Work cross functionally to ensure compliance, and improvement in all aspects of the business

· Provide support when required in respect of customs, and any other compliance matter.

· Manage and prepare financial budgets, forecasts and cash tax projections

· Prepare and develop tax structures, policies and processes along with all the internal controls associated with it.

· Establish appropriate systems or processes to identify and manage tax compliance risk.

Qualifications- Korean English Bilingual Corporate Accounting Specialist:

· Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or related field

· Must have 2 years of corporate accounting/ tax experience in the preferably manufacturing industry.

· Business-level in both Korean and English Language skills (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening)

· Proficient using MS Excel and ERP

· Detail-oriented and analytical

· Must be able to work responsibly, effectively, and independently when needed

· Leadership, Teamwork, and able to work under a multicultural environment

· While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands. This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
