LGES is looking for a talented and motivated individual to join its North America Business Division that provides support services to all sales / manufacturing subsidiaries and joint ventures in the North America Region.
Summary :
This role is responsible for providing legal advices, drafting legal documents, resolving legal disputes, managing compliance system. Associate General Counsel will work closely with the business teams to ensure that all legal matters are handled in a timely, efficient and appropriate manner. This individual will report to the Head of Legal / Compliance of North America Region.
Responsibilities :
- Advise and counsel in a variety of legal and compliance topics.
- Provide legal and compliance training to everyone in the organization.
- Review company policies and practices on a regular basis to ensure that all are in compliance.
- Provide oversight, direction and maintenance of compliance program.
- Conduct risk assessments and general reports for compliance meetings
- Prepare for the possibility of audits and investigations by developing strategies, maintaining records and designing procedures.
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating company contracts and other legal documents
- Generate accurate work product quickly as requested.
- Manage outside counsel relationships, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Regular and reliable on-site attendance is required.
