An international manufacturing company near the Fairfield, OH area is seeking an Outside Sales Representative. You will focus on new business development. The ideal candidate will have experience in Sales within the manufacturing industry.
This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on creating new customer base
- Handle customer sales orders and update price lists
- Regular communication with new & existing customers
- Communicate customer requirements with internal departments
- Create quotes based on customer requirements and company policy
- Address customer questions/complaints
Requirements:
- 2 years technical degree (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years’ sales experience (manufacturing industry preferred)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Open to travel when necessary (including international)
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
- Attention to detail & strong organizational skills
- CNC/cutting tools and/or factory automation experience is a big plus
- Japanese language/culture background is a big plus

This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
