An international manufacturer of Automotive Structural Components is currently looking for a full-time Accounting Coordinator to join their team at their facility near Seymour, IN. Ideal candidates will have strong experience with Cost Accounting and Fixed Assets. This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance, and 401(k).Accounting Coordinator Responsibilities : Estimation of projected business expenses, material and labor costs, budgets, etc.Assist with preparation for internal and external financial auditsAssist with preparation of corporate income taxesEnsure accuracy of physical inventory (tools, production materials, etc.)Oversee purchasing expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance to budgetsAccounts payable and receivable functionsCreation of accounting reports for upper managementOther duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager Accounting Coordinator Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experienceMinimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentPrior experience with Cost Accounting and Fixed AssetsExperience with accounting functions such as accounts payable / receivable, tax preparations, budget and financial analysis, expense reporting, etc.Good computer skills and familiarity with MS Office applications and accounting softwareStrong communication and collaboration ability in a multicultural environmentOrganizational and time management skillsThis position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts / equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
