About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst Leader to join our team at Activant Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business outcomes through strategic analysis and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, product managers, and developers to gather product requirements.
- Write business and customer requirements, including scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria.
- Document business and technical requirements and work with multiple teams to prioritize and validate features.
- Complete validation of product at the end of the development cycle.
- Discover complex problems and requirements and design solutions.
- Answer questions from the development team about features and requirements and may collaborate with the product management team as required.
- Present demonstrations of finished work to customers.
- Perform demonstrations of sprint reviews.
- Act as a mentor for other team members.
- Work on projects of greater complexity and uncertainty.
- Build out project plans, priorities, and timelines for product leadership.
- Review and negotiate priorities with product management.
- Identify new scope as a result of demonstrations as well as prioritize and complete impact analysis of scope changes.
- Work with 1-3 scrum teams.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- 2 years of industry experience in building supply, construction supply, or software.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
