What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time - Dog Hiker position at Active Dog LLC?
An open position as a "Dog Hiker" is currently available within our company Active Dog LLC.
After training is fulfilled your work day will include picking up a set amount of dogs each day and heading to a local nature park or our own land to hike with them off leash. Most week day hours are 8 am until 3 pm or thereabouts. A van will be provided to you for work purposes.
This is a pretty simple and rewarding job that pays very well, but has a lot of responsibility tied to it. Transportation will be provided but love, kindness and a good work ethic will have to be brought to the team by you.
Positives to this position- we have an amazing staff, you'll spend your day working with dogs, daily hikes, job security, great pay and tips.
Harder parts to this position- There is a decent amount of driving involved, sometimes the weather isn't the best, we are a service business, so we do work almost every day of the year (as a team). We also require help with boarding dogs in our own home, most staff will board 1-2 dogs at a time, or staying in client's homes with their dogs when requested.
Requirements-
