The Media Assistant is an integral support member of the buying team. Media Assistants collaborate closely with Buyers, Supervisors, and Account Management to ensure that various Video (TV, OTT) and Audio (terrestrial and digital radio, podcast) campaigns run smoothly. This role will organize all stages of the buying process from meeting on initial requests to carrying out post-analysis and reporting requests. In general, the position has a set list of responsibilities daily but will also be expected to perform ad hoc responsibilities based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Function as Campaign Liaison to media vendor representatives as well as Administrative Support to members of the Media Buying Team :
- Responsible for sending broadcast orders and revisions and responding to station / network vendors’ needs in a timely manner.
- Contact media vendors for logs (airing times for TV and Radio advertisements) and pacing reports, and responsible for pre and post log entries and budget tracking.
- Handle traffic requests.
- Handle credit requests and manage invoice discrepancies with accounting.
- Maintain quality relationships with media vendors.
- Assist with client reporting.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work on several campaigns simultaneously.
- Assist with other ad hoc projects and work assignments, as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
There are no supervisory responsibilities in this role.

The salary range for this position is $43,000 - $45,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
