What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Coordinator, Direct Response position at Active International?

Note: This job is hybrid in Pearl River, NY
This position works with the Buyers, Supervisors and media team in the Direct Response department to provide support on accounts from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Open job estimates in CORE Direct, Media Ocean and PeopleSoft
- Ensure bill to/ship to address, contract and special instructions are accurate
- Input goals for all local campaigns if needed
- Complete the billing process including both estimate and reconciled bills
- Enter DRTV schedules into Media Ocean for estimates not billed in Core
- Process On Order Bills at the start of each month
- Reconcile vendor invoices for National and Local DR
- Process reconciled bills at the end of each month
- Process letter of liability requests
- Assist buyers/campaign managers with weekly client reporting as allocated by supervisors
- Pull Core reports and populate client charts & internal P&Ls
- Pull post data and input into specified client format for various clients
- Download VEIL/Sigma and troubleshoot issues directly with CORE, VEIL & Sigma
- Set up traffic instructions in Core as needed
- Request VEIL Codes
- Distribute traffic instructions both internally & to vendors/traffic contacts
- Download NNTV data daily
- Work with team in reviewing recent ratings and updating in Core
- Ensure trade is accurate prior to billing
- Coordinate with Assistants and Buyers that Control Sheets are completed for all Local and National DR campaigns
- Generate Letters of Liability (LOLs) & forward to credit team
- Learn the basics of the DRTV media buying process
- Compose and steward campaigns aided by senior members of the department
- Begin buying networks by developing relationships with the network account executives and actively negotiating on behalf of our clients
- Support buyers & supervisors with ad hoc projects/tasks
- Mentor assistants and aid in their growth into future roles in Active DR
- Aid assistants with meeting deadlines on an as needed basis
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $48,000. The successful candidate’s salary will depend on the actual ranges of current employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, geography, as well as the candidate’s skill set, level of experience, and qualifications. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of one year of media-related experience.
Proficiency in Excel and Word required
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Media Buying software, a plus
Ability to effectively navigate the Internet preferred
Travel
This position doesn’t require regularly scheduled travel.
Salary : $45,000 - $48,000
