Therapy Assistant
Job Summary:
Active Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a full-time Exercise Specialist to join our expanding multidisciplinary team of Chiropractic Physicians, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners and Exercise Specialists to assist with providing care to our patients. We have four offices: Mount Laurel, Northfield, Marmora and Rio Grande, NJ. We currently have an openings in our Northfield location, NJ location. The position includes 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

At Active Spine and Joint Institute we are a multidisciplinary Chiropractic, Rehabilitation and Medical team that provides drug-free, non-surgical treatments to get our patients out of pain and active again! We have been in operation for over 34 years with four offices located in South Jersey area and continuing to expand!

Job Responsibilities
- Actively assist patients through prescribed rehabilitation
- Functional Movement Screenings
- Help patients with modalities
- Orthotic fitting
- Patient education
- Patient vitals
- Knowledge of rehabilitation exercises
- Ability to explain rehabilitation exercises to patients
- Floor supervision
- Equipment Maintenance
Qualifications/Requirements
- Exercise Science or related field with knowledge of Exercise, Kinesiology or Health Promotion, preferred but not required.
- Fitness certification, preferred but not required.
- Able to teach and motivate patient effectively.
- Strong customer service, teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
