Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall FINISHER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, as well as a strong understanding of construction processes. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Drywall Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on drywall surfaces, contributing to the overall aesthetics and functionality of residential and commercial projects.
Responsibilities
- Install and finish drywall panels in accordance with project specifications.
- Apply joint compound, tape, and other materials to create smooth surfaces.
- Sand and polish finished surfaces to achieve a professional appearance.
- Perform airless paint spraying for final touches on drywall installations.
- Assist with fixture installation and flooring installation as needed.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Carry out trim carpentry and frame carpentry tasks related to drywall finishing.
- Conduct water damage restoration work when required, ensuring proper techniques are used.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople during remodeling projects to ensure seamless integration of drywall work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques and finishing processes.
- Familiarity with airless paint spraying equipment is preferred.
- Experience in fixture installation, flooring installation, trim carpentry, and frame carpentry is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand schematics related to construction projects.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration practices is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
