💲 Pay Rate: $29.70 - $30.66 per hour

📅 Schedule: Full-time, in-office (Monday – Friday, no remote work). Some weekend work required.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accounting Analyst to join our client’s Fund Services division. This role involves handling various fund events in the accounting system (FIS) based on client instructions, fund prospectus information, and supporting documentation. You will be responsible for processing transactions, managing reconciliations, and assisting with fund transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Process client conversions for new and existing clients.

✅ Support fund mergers, including planning and testing before the event.

✅ Handle asset transfers across advisors, funds, and clients based on direction letters.

✅ Perform ad-hoc reconciliations (Trial Balances, General Ledgers, Cash/Assets).

✅ Collaborate with internal teams and clients for new client onboarding and conversions.

✅ Assist in fund events such as launches, liquidations, and maintenance activities.

✅ Ensure compliance with internal procedures and company policies.

✅ Maintain and update client-specific procedures.

✅ Work closely with stakeholders to resolve queries and provide first-level support.

✅ Utilize available technology for operational efficiency.

✅ Prepare management reports and participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (required).

📊 Knowledge of Mutual Fund Accounting and its downstream impacts.

🤝 Strong interpersonal and client service skills—ability to work with demanding clients.

🔍 Detail-oriented problem solver with a strategic mindset.

📈 Proven reconciliation experience, including trial balances, ledgers, and asset/cash transactions.

🛠️ Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting systems like FIS is a plus.

🕒 Flexible & adaptable—able to handle workload fluctuations and changing priorities.

📆 Availability for weekend work (typically 2-3 weekends per year).

🤝 Team player—willing to support conversions and fund events as needed.
