What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Application Engineer position at Actus Consulting Group, Inc.?
We are currently seeking a Field Application Engineer (FAE) to join our growing team in the US. The ideal candidate will have experience working with major North American appliance manufacturers, power semiconductor manufacturers, or electric motor manufacturers, and will be able to offer technical expertise to integrate our products into customer designs. This position is responsible for providing technical support to customers, evaluating and selecting products, troubleshooting, and offering technical expertise to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide support to customers in the home appliance industry or equipment manufacturers whose end-users are in the home appliance industry across North and South America, including semiconductor component evaluation, design-in support, and troubleshooting.
- Offer technical advisory on home appliances and semiconductor / electronic products and assist with product introductions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to conduct product demos, technical presentations, and training for customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitive products, provide feedback for product development, and drive sales growth through strategic sales planning and execution.
- Propose new applications and technical solutions based on customer needs.
- Build strong relationships with customers and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Provide technical training programs to customers, distributors, and sales representatives to spread technical knowledge.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, identifying opportunities and threats, and provide valuable reports to headquarters' business units.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, engineering, and quality control to enhance customer satisfaction and resolve technical issues.
