Title : PLM Engineering Specialist (IT Support Specialist)
Start Date : April 1, 2025
Hours : 9 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM
Salary : $60,000
FLSA Status : Exempt
Job Description :
IT Infrastructure and 3D Design Software Support
Provide Help Desk support (Level 1)
Log and address support issues
Investigate root causes of problems
Issue support tickets
Resolve and process issues in a timely manner
Respond to inquiries from local suppliers and assist as needed
Problem Reporting and Escalation
Escalate issues to a specific IT company in Japan
Implement solutions provided from Japan to the local US team
Qualifications :
Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
Previous Help Desk experience (Level 1 support)
Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, ARAS, 3DEXPERIENCE, TEAMCENTER, Smarteam, etc.)
Proficiency with Windows Client, Server, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon AWS
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365
Proficiency in Japanese (Conversational or abover preferred)
Experience in design and engineering within the automotive manufacturing industry preferred
