Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting & Business Administrator to join our team. This specialist will be
responsible for ensuring smooth business operations across multiple functional areas, including
accounting support, business analysis and reporting, as well as procurement and inventory
management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Support
o Sales Tax Compliance & Monitoring: Ensure adherence to all sales tax regulations and
monitor tax obligations.
o Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable: Oversee invoicing and payment
processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
o Coordinate with Accounting Firms: Liaise with external accounting partners to guarantee
accurate and timely financial processes.
2. Business Analysis / Reporting
o Monthly Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly reports to provide insights for
management.
o Data Analysis for Insights: Analyze data to extract actionable insights that inform
strategic business decisions.
3. Procurement / Inventory Management
o Purchase Order Management: Create and manage purchase orders (POs) to ensure
timely procurement of necessary goods.
o Inventory Control: Maintain adequate inventory levels to support efficient and effective
supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
1. Education & Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in e-commerce or
retail industries.
2. Technical Skills
o Proven experience in accounting support, business analysis, and procurement/inventory
management.
o Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
o Excellent communication, coordination, and multi-tasking abilities.
o Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
o E-commerce experience is highly desirable.
o Familiarity with relevant accounting and inventory management software.
3. Additional Skills
o Familiarity with Avalara, the sales tax calculation and filing system.
o Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
o Japanese language Business Level, bilingual
4. Reporting Lines
o Reports to: Business Operation Manager
Location: Signal Hill/CA
Compensation: A salary ranging from $68,640 to $78,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
