What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler / Forklift Operator position at Actus Nutrition?
The Material Handler / Forklift Operator is responsible for moving products throughout the manufacturing facility, usually by forklift. The responsibilities may include pulling inventory, moving stock and other materials to fulfill orders, moving finished goods and unloading product deliveries by pulling them off of trucks.
The Material Handler/Forklift Operator has the responsibility for all required paperwork documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments of product.
Material Handler / Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Performing warehouse activities and ensuring accurate inventory of all items utilized in the production of finished product.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving of materials which includes sampling of product, packaging supplies and finished product.
- Includes loading/unloading trucks via forklift and maintaining all accurate records.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory discrepancies.
Material Handler / Forklift Operator Requirements:
- 3-5 years of previous shipping/receiving/forklift/warehouse experience. Certified forklift operator a plus.
- Frequently be able lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
