Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Healthcare Specialist to support our medical team in the Republic of the Marshall Islands. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to adapt to challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services at the scope and level of a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to preserve the health of employees and client personnel.
- Assess urgent or emergent health needs of patients, analyze data, and formulate a plan of care with other members of the medical team.
- Pursue professional development activities and continuing education to ensure currency with present practices and trends in healthcare.
- Monitor reconciliation of financial transactions and ensure contract charges are applied uniformly.
Requirements:
- Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant school and hold a NCCPA, AANP or ANCC Certification.
- Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted NP/PA License, free from any pending adverse actions and the ability to be favorably credentialed by Acuity policy.
- Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) required before deployment.
- Recent clinical experience in direct patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year.
- Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as MS Office products required.
