JOB PURPOSE :

Acuity Knowledge Partners is looking for a seasoned sales hunter, to sell consulting & outsourcing services to North American Banking & Capital Markets organizations. The candidate must possess a strong hunting and sales acumen with a good track-record of originating, qualifying and closing deals in the banking sector. Prior experience having sold into the North American banking institutions is required as is familiarity with outsourcing / offshoring.

To be successful in this role the candidate should have good knowledge of the banking and financial services landscape, be a strong sales hunter and develop strong client relationships. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills and strong negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to build and establish long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Run high quality Enterprise sales cycles which includes :
  • Identifying and initiating new opportunities by prospecting new clients
  • Qualification and generating demand at clients and prospects
  • Creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs
  • Negotiating and Closing deals.
  • Own quota to be attained by selling to new client accounts and by leveraging ones earlier relationships for selling consulting & outsourcing services in areas of
  • Investment banking
  • Commercial lending origination, underwriting, portfolio monitoring, credit risk, loan operations & treasury management
  • Sell-side investment research and research operations
  • Middle office operations
  • CFO support & back office operations
  • Sales enablement & marketing operations
  • Risk & compliance
  • Data & technology services
  • Pitch to the front office COO / Head of Corporate Banking / Chief Credit officer / Chief Risk Officer / Chief Compliance officer / the CXO level to build a broad vision of strategic long-term partnership.
  • Qualification and generating demand at clients and prospects.
  • Creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs.
  • Negotiating and Closing complex agreements.
  • Attend industry events and conferences representing Acuity Knowledge Partners.
  • Leverage network to make senior connections at regional and global banks.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline information to management.
  • This position requires travel.

KEY COMPETENCIES :

  • Graduate degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Sales / Marketing, or a related area.
  • Hunter DNA : ambition, sense of urgency, confidence, perseverance, optimism, resilience, and the ability and desire to influence others.
  • Experience and deep understanding of strategic transformation initiatives in banking in helping C-level executives with run-the-bank and change-the-bank initiatives.
  • Understanding the different stages of running strategic enterprise-level sales cycles and the ability to move from one stage to another.
  • Ability to influence key decision-makers during the life cycle of the sales process.
  • Strong presentation skills, negotiation skills, and outstanding client relationship management experience
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
  • Experience in leading sales efforts, proposal development, and closing deals.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail
