Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a SaaS Implementation Project Manager to join our team and lead the onboarding and implementation of our software solutions for new clients. You will own the customer journey from kickoff through successful go-live, coordinating internal and external teams to deliver seamless, timely, and scalable deployments.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role that requires excellent communication, technical aptitude, strong project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering SaaS solutions. You’ll partner closely with customer success, sales, product, and engineering to ensure implementations are executed with precision and drive long-term customer success. We are considering applicants based in Austin, TX or Tallahassee, FL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers to gain insight into their requirements, resource availability, and priorities.
- Lead end-to-end implementation projects for new and existing clients from kickoff through go-live, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during onboarding and implementation, developing a trusted advisor relationship with clients.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.
- Plan and coordinate project deliverables with cross-functional internal teams and client-side stakeholders.
- Communicate project status, blockers, and risk mitigation plans to clients and internal teams.
- Build and maintain detailed project documentation throughout the lifecycle.
- Conduct client training sessions and ensure smooth handoff to support teams.
- Continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 - 4 years of related experience required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Confluence, JIRA, or similar project management tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools, open-source technologies, and virtualization/containerization (e.g., Puppet, Linux, OpenVPN, Sensu, etc.)
- Intermediate understanding of networking required, including TPC/IP, routing, routing protocols, firewall, VLANs, and VPNs (SSL and IPSEC).
- Excellent organization, time management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning.
- Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing technical projects in the retail, c-store, or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Intermediate understanding of Operation systems (Windows/Linux)
- Experience managing projects in an agile and continuous delivery environment.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required.
- PMP, CSM, PgMP, and/or comparable project management certifications required.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, 3 days per week in our Austin, TX or Tallahassee, FL office.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk working on a computer.
